Step 1 · Do this first

Call Caballero

Local Leander party rental. Two 150-qt ice chests are $15 each per 24 hours. Ask for Friday pickup, Monday return (they’re closed Sunday).

“Hi — I need two 150-quart ice chest coolers for this weekend. Pickup Friday, return Monday. Self-pickup in Leander if that’s easier. Name is Kartik, for Anoop Macharla.”

Step 2 · If they have them

Pick up the coolers

They’re in Leander. Hours: Mon–Sat 9am–5pm. Closed Sunday. Confirm the weekend total on the call — the $15 is a 24-hour rate, so Fri→Mon may be about $30–45 each, ~$60–90 for both.

  • Self-pickup is fine in a car / SUV.
  • If they offer delivery in Leander and it’s cheap, take it.
  • Get the return time in writing / text.

Step 3 · Same trip

Ice at H-E-B

H-E-B plus, 651 N US Hwy 183, Leander. About 3 minutes from Anoop’s. Open 6am–11pm.

  • Buy 10–12 bags of 20-lb ice (~$40–60).
  • Don’t dump all 240 cans on ice at once.

Step 4 · Pack

Split the haul

  • Cooler 1: Michelob Ultra + Stella
  • Cooler 2: White Claw + Red Bull
  • Extra cases stay in shade / AC. Restock as people drink.
  • Layer ice, then cans, then ice. Drain meltwater if it sits overnight.

Only if rental is sold out

Buy cheap at Academy
